With due respect, I am writing to inform you that my mother passed away on March 14, 2026. Due to this sudden and personal loss, I had to travel to my village in Jessore immediately to perform the last rites. As per the office schedule, the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays were observed from March 18, 2026, to March 27, 2026. Being a follower of the Hindu faith, I had to stay back for an additional 2 days (March 28 and 29) to complete the necessary religious rituals and post-funeral ceremonies. Consequently, I have resumed my official duties today, March 30, 2026. I, therefore, request you to kindly consider my situation and approve my absence from March 14, 2026, to March 29, 2026 (including the Eid holidays) on humanitarian and religious grounds.
